We lose a chicken here and there because an owl or hawk takes one. So to replenish our flock we decided to incubate some eggs.

9 chicks have hatched so far with 8 more that look like they will be hatching over the next 24 hrs.

It's really exciting to watch... well it's kind of gross to watch but it's an exciting experience.
